Hi Prsurf,
the 122 is a great choice. You will have a board for a wide windrange, which carries a 9,0 without any problems. Get in a 44 or 46. For 8.5 around 42 or 44. The good thing is that the board works pretty fine with smaller sizes like 7.6. You can make the 122 really fast using your experiences from Formula board sailing.
