I use a 85 cm Curtis on a custom board larger than the Apollo, it is an older less powerful foil that isn't very precise, but it is slippery. It's early planning is great and balances great with a 12.5 but I think the foil twists too much. You really have to let the board follow the foil, or it can get slow. It will pull you downwind and then push you upwind as the tip twists (not just flex). In flat water (building breeze) and smooth wind it can be great. On that long a lever seems flex is good and twist is bad. Just guessing really.
