I just got a chinook two-bold Base (US-Cup) and streamlined extention. Everything looks very solid and is compatible (even with NP bases). By the way my new 08 tendon base features a robust security webbing (formaly known by from the rubber joint base) instead of the thin rope.

The only thing which seems a little bit strange to me, is the cleat of the quick-six fitting which allows the rope to come free (i.e. no closed channel surrounding the rope). Do I have to secure the rope e.g. by making a turn upwards (passing the gap between the rope and the extension) or can I put the overlaying rope straight down to go inside the extention?

Thanks for advice in advance!
