Look at www.boards.co.uk.....forums-locations and search dubai for a bit more info.
I was there before it was fashionable, when it was a great place and unspoilt.
Sounds like you really need to take some kit (unaccompanied baggage perhaps ?) and depending on your weight something like a highish volume board and 6.5 + 8.5 sails.
