The other big difference is in the feeling of power when riding the new the board, which comes from the extra thickness and more power-orientated rail shapes under your heels. The new Serenity is a lot more powerful and that feeling combined with the extra tracking stability adds up to make the whole package faster more exciting to ride. It's still one of my favourite boards in the range.
Does this mean that the Mk II will be more of a handful at the top end of its range?
Importand if only for the need to get back (usually down!) home if the wind picks
up a bit.
