Hard to say for sure, but yes, I think you will notice. The Futura is not only lighter but also a stiffer construction which makes it a fair bit more effective*. If you intend to keep the board for a while as you progress, I think you will prefer the Futura.

(* I have not use these two particular board , but base the comparison on the old Aero 117 and Starsurfer which was the same shape but with a construction more similar to the Go - The Aero felt A LOT livelier and easier to get going. Of course, the Starsurfer is very much a sailable board (and I still have it as a fun family board) but the Aero was just a more fun and a higher performing board.)
