There is one Wood and one WoodCarbon. The WoodCarbon is lighter, stiffer and more expensive. Then there is also a cheaper technora version. Look at the Kode page for weights http://www.star-board.com/2009/pages...cts/v_kode.php

Out of those three constructions, the Wood has the smoothest ride - a good combination of reasonable weight and a nice flex response. The wood carbon is very, very nice to sail because it is so light, but in very windy and choppy conditions (think powered up 3.7) it will also feel a bit more hectic. These are subtle details though.
