Default RE: Red Bull Storm Chase - Gossip?

Hi James,

I did the Scottish part of the Storm Chase and was using a 3.3m sail at times and an Evo 70 XTV. We had quite a mix of sailing conditions over the filming period, from cross on shore jumping to cross shore down the line. We sailed a few new spots on the east coast that I have never heard anybody sailing at before., which was good fun. By the looks of the gallery on the storm chase website the guys in Ireland got the most picturesque sailing venue with high cliffs and green sea. Apparently where we sailed is normally crystal clear water but the storm had reall churned the sea up.

It was a great concept and so unlike what we normally do. The DVD might not show the most radical tricks as trying to do anything when overpowered on a 3.3m is hard, but I think it will make a nice documentary style presentation of the different faces of windsurfing. Apparently the DVD will be out in December.

Cheers
John
