Ken Hi, my Rio is a 2009 Medium. Iam 6FT and about 14stone ( I think concerts into 85Kgs).

Iam very new to the sport and am practising the t+g's......Have not yet engaged with harness or footstraps...

A few fellow surfers seem to recommend the Tushy Thunderbird although these are like rocking horse $hite to get hold of secondhand...Was looking at either a 6.6 or a 7.5 BUT certainly do not want to purchase anymore than this until my basics are better.....

Am I talking nonsnese about large sail...Please feel free to say whatever...
