Hi,

Last weekend I've been trying to learn this nifty trick to sail fin first (to get out on a shallow water), it sometimes worked, but usually I'd stall with my board being perpendicular to the wind and very slowly going sideways.
Does it only works when you go straight downwind?
The way I've been trying to do it was to hang onto the sail and rotating the board quickly with my feet until it is the opposite way. But then I was having problems to get it going.
