I really like the Isonic (wood) 150. It planes early, is very fast on a reach and when powered goes upwind extremely well. The only downside is gybing, which is much tougher than gybing a FF138 or FF158 or even an Is 133! I've nailed quite a few fully planning gybes, but it is a lot more work ( I think it is somewhat akin to gybing a door). I haven't had a chance to sail it with anything bigger than a 9.1 so I'm looking forward to trying a 10.0 or 10.5. In moderate winds (15 to 18 knots) it is very competitive with the Is 133 (a true classic IMO) , which is impressive considering the 150's size (width). I'm very interested in seeing what it can do with a 9.5, 10.0 or 10.5 in light winds - this will be the litmus test.
