Fully agree with Roger. Car paste (mastic) works fine for small dents, even on polyethylene boards. No need to open anything. However depending on the location of the dammaged area you may find it hard to restore the original shape. Nothing to do with performance, only aesthetics. If you plan to resell this board one day or you just get mad about it, having it repaired by your shop may be safer. Cellulite is not very appealling even on second hand boards.
