I have just made new racks for my trailer and on the top rack I have a couple of boards including my beloved Carve 121. These boards are strapped on upside down so the footstraps don't get killed by the sun. The shade these boards provide then protect all my sails etc from being killed by the sun. Sheer genius, I'm sure you all agree...

The only flaw in this plan is if the sun kills the actual hulls. I am not too worried about fading...

Any advice out there?
