when i bought my '02 acid77 wood, it had a negative tail kick!
talked with scott mckercher and he said it was not a design feature, but some kind of production failure..
anyway, before i sanded the tail to a 'normal' slight positive rocker, i experienced following on the water:
- board was very fast and early planning
- it was exceptionally good in biting high speed tight carves (similar to bottom turns)
after modification, the board was still fast and turny, but lost this special turbo-hypermode!
now i got it back (more drive in carves) by installing twinser fins in the board..
