Get used to both as each as hits merits.
A point not mentioned (and main one I adopted to a chest/waist is extra loading put on boom end with a seat.Sitting into a seat harness puts loads of ttwist into boom.
Diffference is to do with your centre of gravity. Seat pulls through bodies CoG ;chest doesn`t. Ultimately seat has to be less tirin. (but more damaging to boom ???)
