Yeah, know what you mean. One time I was sailing and the wind wasn't so strong, probably a solid force 4, and some guy on race kit (NP Racesail, over 7.0m) hit's a piece of chop and got about 1.5m of air, when the chop really wasn't big that day. It was mind blowing.

I think it's about using the sail to create lift.... I can chop hop quite well now but I too would like to know the secret to blasting huge airs on somewhat flat water.
