Personally I use Maui Sails Pursuit 8.5 with Autima 490/90%
i also am just over 95 kilos and i love this sail
my buddy is slightly taller and heavier and he uses SailWorks Retro 8.5 with a NorthSails 490 which i believe is 75 % carbon - he breaks battens regularily and i do not know if this speaks against the sail or his handling

so both of us are using no-cam 8.5s and as heavy weights are loving them
i do have a 10-oh race sail with 4 cams and it gets me flying in 12 to 18 knots when no other windsurfers seem to be on the water here in Montreal

for most sail companies it seems 8.5 is where they stop with no cams - except SW retro
since i love cams - my next 8.5 will have at least 2 cams
next sail down is an older Gaastra Flow 3X 7.0 with 3 cams that fits on the 490
hope to try this on a older SB Carve 121 that i am buying :-)

seems there are few 8.5s that people are disappointed with ie they all seem to do their job in light winds - people just seem to like or stick with their favorite product line :-)

get one - any one - and you're gonna have fun :-)
