Hi Joe,

Sounds to me like you have more a problem with the cleat of the chinook extension (perhaps too worn out) than with the Marlow formuline (also called dyneema). I know that the standard diameter of 3.8mm is often a little bit thinner than the usual down-haul lines, but I have not yet encountered a slippage on any of my bases (mostly NP).
