With my weight (87kg), there's no way I plane in 8-12 knots without an 11m2. Perhaps from time to time when I catch a little gust, yes. Last saturday, I could plane all the time in 11-14 knots with the US + 8.8 sail, but very marginal, i.e. without power reserve. Such a pity that I didn't try the 11m2.

May I ask your weight ?
In what kind of wind conditions are you using the 10,7 ?
