Downwind seems to be the only place where Kites have a definite advantage over windsurf, and windsurfs loose the advantage in respect to other sailing vessels. It makes sense, since we are just sailing with a mainsail. Isn't time to try to develop a downwind specific, or adjustable, sail? A deploy-able kite? Something like this
