Futura 141 or Ultrasonic 9-12 knots range only
I am looking at buying a very light wind board to sail in lakes by 9-12 knots with a Neil Pryde Helium 8.5. I am 90 kg and I have been sailing for 20+ years.
Could anyone provide some feedback on the Futura 141 vs ultrasonic in terms of planning capabilities and keeping the planning in patchy winds?
Thanks in advance, your feedback is much appreciated.

I can't say anything about the Fu141, but 9-12 knots and 90kg with the US147 and 8.5 will be on the edge, especially in patchy winds.
I'm 87kg and use a 10.9 in 8-12 knots on the US147.
I also use a 8.8 on the US147, but that's more for +/- 11-15 knot conditions, again in patchy winds because when the wind gets more steady, I'm on my IS122 + 8.8.
Hope this helps.

I have a futura 144 and at 100 kg there is no way to get onto plane unless 12-14 knots with a 10m2 so I am looking around for a US 147
