Hi Remi i have some questions about the complements included in the new Phantom.
I have receive yesterday my new Phantom 377 and when i have prepare it i see that it don,t includes nor the mast foot nor the daggerboard pusser is this ok? they are optional components?
thanks a lot.
The board seems very good but i donīt like the dark colors in one hour it was very hot in summer we must have a lot of care with the sun.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Mikel,

This board came also with out mast base as all the Starboard boards but sure your distributor have this piece.

Actually the dark blue is less hot than the dark grey we have before but of course don't leave your board under heavy sun with air valve.

Have fun

All the best

mikel,
I think there may be a "terminology" problem with getting an answer to your question.
I, for sure, have never heard of a "daggerboard pusser" in all my 25+ years in windsurfing.
Is this the handle that one used to raise and lower the daggerboard?
Is this the seal on the bottom of the board that seals the daggerboard cavity when the
daggerboard is retracted?
Is it a cover over the top of the daggerboard?
What exactly are you referring to as a "pusser".
Hope this helps,
Roger

it`s the new kind of foot strap used to push down the daggerboard, not the head of the daggerboard, is a new piece used to push the daggerboard down a Little bit.
here is a photo
thanks

Hi mikel,
OK, now we are all on the same page.
I'll have to let Remi answer on where to get a daggerboard "pusher".

Hi Mikel,

If you have the 2014 Phantom 295 L or the 2013/2012 Phantom 295, the daggerboard pusher/stomp pad should be included in the package (together with footstraps, fin, screws, air-tight valve and daggerboard).

The mast base is not included, however. Both can be ordered through your Starboard dealer as spare parts.

Cheers !

JM

Hi Jean-Marc, thanks for your time.
Really i am speaking about phantom 377 2014, i see that the L has included the pusher but in the "normal" it`s not included, at least all the boards that i have see don`t have it.

Thanks
Mikel

Mikel,

Sorry for my misunderstanding about 377 L/377 and 295L/295.

So if I'm correct, you're looking for such a daggerboard pusher/stomp pad : http://www.seabreeze.com.au/img/phot...ng/8012157.jpg

Make sure you have 2 holes on each side of the daggerboard pit to screw the daggerboard pusher/stomp pad on your 2014 377 Phantom hull as shown on the left picture above.
If you do have the holes indeed, then you can order the spare part (make sure to get the "A-type" for 377 and not the "H-type" for 295).
If you do not see the holes, then make sure they are not covered by the white footpad (probe the presence of the holes with a needle through the footpad).

If no holes at all, then you're kind of stuck, sorry. I don't have the slighest idea why there are holes on the 2014 377 L hull but no holes on the 2014 377 hull to screw a daggerboard pusher/stomp pad. This sounds weird to me and I'll let Rémi or somebody else more knowledgeable than me to chime in for a final explanation.

Hope this really helps you.

Cheers !

JM
