11 year old and Carve 133

Hi,

My daughter is using a Carve 133 (with the standard 46 cm Drake fin) and a 2.7sqm sail. She's doing fine except the fact that she's not able to tack and go upwind: what ever she does, the board is not willing to turn upwind. When she was using a rented JP Young 114 board, she was able to do it.

Can I adjust the board (mast position, fin, etc. etc.) in order to help her? Do you have suggestions???
