Kombat with Gator or Blade

I'm about to change board from my Flare 94 06 to a new one.
I'm thinking about the Kombat instead of Flare as I don't do that much trix. I just want to try the vulcano every now and then, and one day, maybe the forward

If I choose Kombat, can I use my Blade sail or should I change to maybe Gator instead ? Is there big difference in power between these two models ?
I'm a light weight sailor and thinking about K89 or maybe K79.
