Kevin,
I got a Kode 103 as my first board, (first year sailing). I bought 6.5 and 5.5m sails to go with the board. I am 70Kg and 6ft. I am confused about the fin size i should be using. The board came with a 30cm Drake, and I got a 25cm MFC freewave to go with it. I also bought 4.2 and 4.7 sails, that I use, but are intending to team with a wave board, probably a Kode 74, or (evo/quad). For the Kode 103, I would like to get one fin for flat water blasting, to get the most of the 6.5m and another fin to suit the 5.5m is bump and jump and small waves. What do you recommend for me with Kode 103, with 6.5 and 5.5 sails? The 25cm is nice and loose, but perhaps its too small? The Kode 103 is supposedly 65cm wide, and some fins calculators suggest I should have a 32cm fin on it? I saw your MFC K-one fin, would the 27cm fin fit well? I either sail on small waves of south east england, or flat water bays. Last edited by racerX; 22nd February 2010 at 05:56 PM. |
