Cementos pacasmayo classic is ready
Yesterday (wednesday) was the first day of the International long wave championship event in Pacasmayo (PERU). THe first day, wind conditions were moderate and waves about 1-1.5 meters, so the judge started competition for Kiting, advancing at least half of the elimination series. Brazilian Guilly Brandao (Mormaii), world champion, is leading in style and attitude, but also Roberto Nacimiento also from Brazil is following his path. The next series will be hold tomorrow and Paulo Rios (Peru) promises to give a surprise to all kiters there.
Today Thursday morning wind was light and waves also about 1meter in from of El Faro Hotel so the judge decided to start Paddle Surfing competition. In the first elimination series Dudu Schuldtz from Brazil won the first heat. Ricardo Guglielmino (Starboard/Mormaii) also clasified for semifinals. In the rest of heats most Brazilian surfers get advantage in front of other Chile surfers so Brazil is on the lead in most heats.
Tomorrow Friday at 7.30am are going to start Again the Stand Up paddle surfing competition and then, as wind and waves promise to be very good for all weekend, is starting again kiting and coming the Windsurfing and Longboarding competition, that haves really good competitors from different countries waiting for this big days, big weekend.
