bic veloce 101. anyone know this board. just getting back into windsurfing and might buy one of these. my waterstarts are not great so was wondering if I would be able to up haul on this?

I agree with Maximus! The Veloce 101 is very narrow, so unless you weigh =< 60 kilos, uphauling would be difficult to nearly impossible. Plus to sail that sort of board you would need quite a bit of wind (say 18-20 knots). Why not make it easier on yourself and get a wider board that planes alot earlier and a modern sail that has a much larger range of use. Roger |
