Gyurmo, would you please give us some feedback about the fin you've got?Tested it?What's size and for what board? What was your brief with him about the choice of specs and result is like you've expected? Last but not least:what are you benchmark to compare the Virus? Thank you |

hi G,
i'm 86 kg, 184 cm tall, i use the Starboard 167wide, sail 12,5-10,0 sqm. i looked for a fin for cover light/medium wind on reasonable price. virus does not have too many different variant. the standard 70 is fits to my parameters. i tested against deboichet R19, R17 and R20, what was perfect for me for my SB 162 in very wide wind range. R19 and R17 i did not liked at all. the board "sticked" too much, was difficult to pump into planning (not only in light wind) R20 was fine in stabil wind and flat water but gusts lifted up the board - the control was difficult. the virus was good alround for me. hope its help, gyurmo |

Michal from Virus fin agreed to replace the Classic 70cm for quality ( bubbles ) issue. But they never reply my email despite various follow-up. In a small formula community. This should not happen ;(
