Smile Carve 111 wood 2013 report

Have tested my new carve 111 and to summarize this board is a lot of fun!
Easy to ride for an average freerider, but at the same time a pleasure to do both tight and wide jibes.
Experienced that the board performs very well with both a 5.4 wave-like sail and a 7.2 freerace cambered sail in choppy coastal conditions. Can really recommend this board for an intermediate to advanced freerider sailing in these conditions wanting a easy to control, maneuverable, fast and exciting freerideboard!

Would be nice to here of someone who could compare the carve111 with the futura111 and describe some personal experiences.

Hi
I have sailed both the 2013 Carve 111 Wood and the 2013 Futura 121 Wood this summer.
As an Intermediate rider 75 kg, I enjoyed both boards very much. Both are easy to ride & jiibe and fast boards.
I think the carve is slighly easier to jiibe and glides more easily onto plane compared to the Furura.
Often it takes some time to get used to new boards, but these boards were both very easy and fun to ride!
