I do couple races in the Euro Cup and also compete nationally for high slots.
I have pretty much all boards of the I Sonic 2006 line plus 101 from 2007. For Warp 8.3 sail and I Sonic 125 I have a Tectonics F8 42 cm. I hear from some others that moving to Deboichet SL2 42 would be a big plus. I weigh 85-86 kg (with my west). My question is: would SL2 indeed bring an significantly improved performance with the above combination or should I keep my tectonics and spend the 200+ Euro on some other size. Many thanks for your expert opinions. Tur53 |

Aydın Merhaba
38'den sonra çok farkediyor. Bende 38'den büyükleri deboichet SL2 küçükleri Tectonics kullanıyorum. Tectonics'in büyükleri carbon finlere oranla hantal kalıyor. Koray |

To keep everybody in the loop, koray says that up to 38 cm, both fins are quite comparable. However after 38 Tectonics is very robust and a bit smaller compared to SL2 of the same size.
Kevin, what is your opinion. I believe that you used both fins? PS: I use these fins with 8.3 warp and ISonic 125 in relatively flat water between 13-16 knots. |

I use the Deb. I think in the sizes 38 and above the fins are really quite a bit better. So if you can get a 42 Sl 2 you will be styling.!

In France you can hear a lot of things
When the Deb SL2 come on, It's the one you need ! When Vector Cannefire come on, No better choice ! But after a time, Tomcat & GW stay the prefered... If you have a Sponsor it's an over thing... I have two old Tecto from KP ![]() They are steel good fin's ! |
