Today first sailing on 111.
Set up was:
footstraps all the way back; mast track couple of cm behind middle; NP rs5 7,2 well downhauled ; 36 supplied fin ; wind gusty and schifty from 14 to 24 kns ; hard forntal chop ;
Average planning attitude ; good max speed (when fully powered up); good average speed (when fully powered up); great jibe ; great control ;
I think that the supplied fin sucks!! it really slow down the board and makes it insensitive!
Still don't understand if the board does need to be oversailed or just needs a better fin.
Next time I'll give my 38 g10 Microfin a try and will see .
