I'm planning to buy a 'smaller' iSonic to complement the 125 that I own now.
Should I go for the 2006 105 or would it be worth to wait for the 2007 101. How do both boards compare ? (I am mainly into speed) Grtz |

Hi Willy,
With the 2007 101 you will get a mild advantage in speed mainly due to refinements in trim/control (allowing for hard/er riding at top speed) ... it's not huge c/w 2006 105, which is still a fast ride, especially in open water fully powered slalom blasting. Jibe/control on the new board is definitely improved in 2007, it's a standout in the new iS line. Please let us know if you need more info etc. Cheers ~ Ian |

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the reply. It confirms the rumours. I guess I 'll give the 101 a try. Grtz Willy |

At the moment I'm surfing the 105 (again). During the ESM in the Netherlands I guess some testing is possible
. The additional improvent make it worth I think to compare the 101 and 105. I have a good deal with the local shop so I can interchange these boards !
