evo xtv 70 2007

Hi guys,
i'm Alberto, i have an evo 70 xtv but my weight is 83!!! I found it very good in side shore and 4.5 condition. Which sail i can carry on this board as max changing fin?

Hi Alberto.

I would say you can go up to 5.3. I know a few guys with similar weight as you that does that on the 70. Fin size is individual, but you would probably want a 23 or 24 Drake Natural instead of the original 22.

Hi Alberto,

I'm the same weight as you are. I spent the past two days sailing my 70-07 with 4.5, 5.0 and 5.3. I should have changed to a larger fin when I was using the 5.3, but I had such consistent wind that the 22 worked fine for me. I didn't find the 70 much slower, if any, to plane than the 75.

thank you for your replay. I think i will look for a second board with more volume, perhaps 80-83 (2007-2006)liters or 90-91(2007-2006), what do you think is better between them?
