It seems that I'll give the answer by myself to this, as I've booked a new 2009 Ventura for a really cheapest price, so let's see the difference between a Div2-inspired board like the Serenity compared to a DIV1-inspired board like the Ventura.
I have to pick up it in middle Germany going up (read escaping from hot) to Denmark on first days of July, hoping to try it on lakes and also sometime with.. my girlfriend sitting on the bow!

P.S.:the only thing they don't explain is what adjustable mastfoot system it has, it seems an only-mistral type and not provided with the board; luckily I still keep a Mistral to europin converter from my venetian Mistral Echo

I remember the Div 2 board It was like a sponge about 360to 360 if I remember . after a days use you took the cork out at the end off the board stood it on its end to drain it out. (yes those were the days)
