Hi kvda,
I was last saturday at the kabelaarsbank and measured 18 knots average with sometimes peaks to 25 in the afternoon. I was on my IS101//6.7. Felt really well powered up. I also tried a 7.8 (RSRevo2) from a friend, but that was a little too big for me. At the Schotsman, the SW wind must have come somewhat side onshore, with a bit more chop than on the kabbelaarsbank I suppose. Probably the reason that the 101 felt better than the 107 ? Does the 107 feel much bigger than the 101 ? Slower ?

Yes the 107 feels a lot bigger, from 107 to 101 is quite a big step down, I didn't expect it to be that big. But allround, the 107 is really great. Feels solid, early planing. The 101 definitively is the faster board when well powered up with 7.2

Today I got my 97! Looks great, as can be expected from Starboard.
I hope it works just as great as my 2010 101 did! |

Please share your experiences, when you've tried it out.
