Hi Remi!
i was thinking about the 97 iSonic where i sail the maximum wind is from 18 to 24 top, we don't get this type of wind all the time. Do you think the 97 is big for me. Thank you Dani :-) |

Hi Dani,
The 7.0 will be perfect on the iSonic 97 but not sure if you will in perfect balance with 5.5, I use the 80/87 in this case. Hope this help All the best

Hi Dani,
would recommend you the iSonic 87 2011. It´s definitely the iSonic size, which covers you sailsizes. I use the same board with 7,0/6,2 and 5,6 with fins from 34 to 31 cm length. You can use the board with steady 20 knots. If you take the 97, the 7,0 will be fine, like Remi mentioned, but on the smaller sizes you could struggle! The 90 would be an option, but a bit too big for the 5,5. Is nice with 6,2 and 7,0. Would definitely take the 87. It has by far the widest windrange. And there is no limit, if the wind should pick up! Cheers, Chris

Thank Chris!
I took your advise and get the Isonic 2011 90lt, i can't wait to sail this one, hopefully i picked the right one where i sail we don't get to many of steady 20 knots days. Any advise on placing foot straps and mast for 6.3 and 7.0 sail. Thanks Dani. |
