Hi,
can anyone help me with choosing of the right board. Now i have Isonic 122 (2008) and most of the time I ride 7.2m2 RS racing. My weight is 77 kg and I think that these board is a litle bit to big for me when there are chopy condituions. I also ride RS racing 9m2 when ther is 10-15knot. Now I would like to change the board for Isonic 107. OK i know that tese wold be prfect combination for my RS racing 7.2m2, but what about 9m2 ? did any one try to surf with such a small board and so big sail? what is the minimum wind for that combination? Is my decision for Isonic 107 correct? Thanks for answers, Jernej |

Hi Jernej
In the PWA all our Team rider are using 8.6 on this board for slalom Down wind with great success with 42/44 fins. So 9 m will work. Would like to know if you have other boards to give you the best choice as possible, thanks All the best

Sorry to cut in, but I am using 7m, 8m and 9m Warps on an iS107. I use the 9m with a 41cm fin on fairly flat water. I love the iS107/9m combo. My 9m uses a 520 maast. Im 100kg and it works good provided you are powered up. If the wind goes, slogging with a 9m is not good. A 8.4m would be better as a slightly shorter boom and lighter 490 mast would make it a bit more comfy. But if you have a 9m already, you will be fine

my second board is Isonic 94lit (2009) for sails 5m2 and 6m2.
Do you think that Isonic 107 is good combination for second board. What about the fins. I'm thinkig 38cm for 7m2 sail and 44cm for 9m2 or better 42cm. bigger sail I use for crusing. |

Hi Jermej
In your case who you use most of the time the 7.2 and sometimes the 9.0, the iSonic 107 will be the good option with respectively 38 and 42. Have Fun and don't hesitate to give us your feed back when you get it and try All the best
