The grey colour has fallen off at an area of about 30 x 1 cm under my Isonic Carbon 127 and there seam to be indicators of small cracks in the colour surface that could lead to more losts of paint. The black carbon surface under the the paint is shown. The carbon surface is ruff and will make resistance in water.
(This has nothing to do with the crack damage I have mentioned earlier. This damage is in the middle under the board.) QUESTION - How to paint and how to find paint? |

Here is a tip:
Sand the entire bottom with 400 grid wetsandpaper. Then Use 600 grid wetsandpaper to finish it. Use Car Paint if they sell DUMPLICOLOR brand use it buy the grey base paint and just spay it lightly on the bottom and that is it. Use again the 600 grid wet sand paper and you have a new board. |

Thanks monopr! I do not know if You are in the Starboard Team or not, but: If not it seams to be a good advice that I will follow unless somenone from the team says that I will handle the situation in another way. As far as this I am not so impressed of the quality of the board, but sailing it is really nice and easy.
