I have an F-Type 148.
There a few shots from a light wind day. I was using an 8.0. At Midwinters, I was using my 9.8 V8 in each of the 4 heats. I find it to be a great combination with a 70cm fin. I can tell the difference between the F-Type and a true Formula board. The F-Type does what it was designed to do very well. I got 2nd in my fleet/division (Sport Formula, Masters), so it can't be all that different, eh? http://bradstreet.us/2007/20070114-bill-winds/

Aloha bensen! Yep, I'm about to get F-Type 158. Could you send those photos to maxim(dot)kim(@)hotmail(dot)com?
Hi o2bnme! Thanx! What is your weight? At what windspeed to you start planning? I'm not an expert at all, but guess that skills are more important than F-type/Formula difference, at least untill you are in really serious competitions.
