New Raceboards
The Phantom 320 and 380 look awesome. I hope they're big winners in the raceboard class.

Well that makes three mid length dagger boards designed for all wind racing. How does the 320 race fit in with the Hybrids ?

I think the phantom 320 is designed to be as long and narrow as possible within the box limits of the "hybrid raceboard class".
The designers must have decided that maximizing sub-planing performance was the way to win the most races in that class. When races are often held in light wind, long and narrow is king. So I think the only way for shorter and wider hybrids like SB's hybrid race, hybrid formula, and phantom 301 to be competitive is if the box rules or minimum wind limits are changed, or a one-design class if formed. |

James, I think you are on the right track with your thoughts. In a way it seems a shame to me, right now the short/wide Bic is competitive in light airs
