Hi,
My slotbox thread for one of the screws is stuffed so i cant fully tighten it. Just wondering what the best way to go about fixing it? Should I retap the hole or get a bigger screw and use that instead. |

the early model there was an issue with the thread and importers were supplied with a fatter screw which solves the problem.
Am pretty sure your local importer should have. Scotty |

Thanks Scott
Its a 2012 flare, so I'm guessing it already is the fatter screws. Should I grab some bigger ones from a hardware store myself? I'm not fully convinced by slot box on a single fin. Light is good but doesn't seem to be quite strong enough. I think I must have over tightened the screw trying to get it tight enough as it kept loosening. Seems to be the go for multifins though. |
