Default Part in mast track broke, 2007 Starboard Phantom 220L

Hey all, I was out in the water recently and my mast base came off of my board. Luckily, I was close to shore and swam it in, but I looked at my mast track and it looks broken, and the nut that the mast base screwed into was still on the mast base and not in the mast track. How can I get this fixed? I saw something called a Mistral slide (a brass piece) but how does that thing work? Thanks.

Also, before this happened, I noticed that the mast base wasn't as "secure/snug" as it usually is, but I couldn't get it anymore. I think the foam has kind of worn away around the mast track, and it was no longer able to get some tension from the screw or something.

One more thing, I have noticed plastic bits falling off of the mast track before. I was concerned, but it never seemed to matter so...

I have uploaded some pictures because this is hard to explain. Thanks for any help.

Hi New Stoke,

If you use the recommend mast base I think he will still work and on top of that you can use different possition when sailing.
