hi,
having just tested my IS 110 with a 7,7 NP Hellcat and a select 41 Vmax, I am really impressed by the ease of use and performance of the combo. I would like to use the board also with smaller sails, e.g. NP H2 Racing 6,6 and a e.g. 38 fin.Would this work? If not, what is the reason? Thanks for your recommendations. Regards Rdrsurf |

Not the sweetspot, but it should work, I guess.
It will also depend a bit on your weight. If you're too light, you could get some control issues. The 2 cams of the H2R will help to hammer the board down c/w the camless Hellcat.

In rather flat water no problem, I think.
In serious chop, difficult. I'm 87kg. I use my 6.7 with the IS101 (97) and also IS87. I' m also thinking about replacing my IS122 with the IS110, but in combination with full racing sails 7.8 & 8.8. Cheers.

Thanks, for the 110 I'll better go for 7,2 and 8,2; the latter additionally with
the 9,2 H2 for the US147. hang loose.

Hi Rdrsurf,
I use sometimes in flat water the Reflex 7.0 with 38 fin and this work really great for really fast speed but will be faster on 97 ![]() Never try under but should work. All the best

I sailed my 110 yesterday with a SCS 7.0 and a Z-fin 38. With my 72kg I was quite overpowered. The conditions were flat. I did around 27knots but felt like I can go much faster when I get more time on the board. I also had my Freestyle 92 with my 5.2 on the beach and switched between the set ups. There was plenty power for doing freestyle on the 92/5.2 set up as well.
I also had a H2 8.2 for the board. It worked great, especially in low wind. To get more range out of one rig I sold my 8.2 and got a Simmer SCR 7.8 that I guess will cover a very big wind range for med with the 110. |

Last weekend I just tried my is110 with a 6.5 no cam sail ( no other sail available ). Conditions gusty and choppy, fin select vmax 41 and to my surprise, this worked really well. The board still very stable, fast and easy to handle. A 6,5ish freerace sail would have for sure worked even better.
Cheers, rdrsurf
