Not so much windy, as I know lake Trasimeno. Never been there but was flat and windless everytime I passed there.I've heard about some good day with low pressure.
Much more scenic the volcanic lake Bolsena, more south, with summer thermal winds and some great day, even if big sails and boards are recommended

Hi thanks for that i was wondering where or what part of the lake is good to rig up and launch from. I was there three weeks ago it was windy and the water was very flat but didnt have my kit with me. Think i was at Touro didnt see anyone to ask about sailing from there.
