Default Old Hypersonic

Hi, I got an old (good as new) Hypersonic from a family member, which haven't used it at all. It is probably from around 2003. I do not quite understand what type it is when I check different websites/old catalogs, it says 229x73 cm on the board and not 227 like most others I can find. Can someone tell me the volume of my board, is it 105, og 125 ltrs??? Serial no. seem to be SU253020252.

Hi,

Hypersonic 105 & 125 from 2003 are 227 x 76 cm : http://2003.star-board.com/products/hypersonic.asp
Hypersonic 96, 111 & 133 from 2004 are 218 x 77 cm : http://2004.star-board.com/products/hypersonic.asp
Hypersonic 111 & 133 from 2005 are 218 x 77 cm : http://2005.star-board.com/products/hypersonic.asp

At that time, the serial number of my 2003 Hypersonic 105 that I bought in October 2002 was SU05 2 07 0011, which means :
S = Starboard
U = DRAM
05 = 105 L
2 = 2002
07 = july
0011 = number of the board

Your serial number SU25 3 02 0252 does follow the above logic, and in particular, the number of the board is always given by the last 4 digits (be it 0011, 0035, 0151 that I own, your 0252 or say 1234), and it does mean :
S = Starboard
U = DRAM
25 = 125 L
3 = 2003
02 = February
0252 = number of the board
So IMHO, you've got an Hypersonic 125 which was released 6 months later than the Hypersonic 105 due to popular demand by heavier riders on our forums if I recall correctly...

The 229 x 73 cm is a misprint for sure : http://2003.star-board.com/products/hyper125_info.asp

To distinguish between the 2 volumes, look on the right and rear footpad under the footstrap : is is printed either 105 or 125 in white over a black background color.

Cheers !

I used to have the 125 and I'm pretty sure I remember it had the length of 229 printed on it as well. I assumed the final model ended up 2cm longer than the 105.
