Default Lightwindboard: New Futura or Carve

I'm looking for a lightwind board for my homespot (flat water lake, lightwind mostly between 10-16 knots, gusty). Early planning/ keep planning are the most wanted features. I weigh 76 kg, skills: footstraps (passably), want to learn power jibe.
I actually sail an older carve 144 (2006) and the most used sail is a cambered 8.4 sqm.

Because of its width and its acceleration the new Futura 134 seems to have better lightwind capabilities than the the carve 131. Is this true? Is the Futura more difficult to sail (learning power jibe) than the carve?

Perhaps someone of the team can answer my question, unfortunately registration fails and therefore I can not use the correct forum.
