Talking slalom races Bonaire 2009

On the beach some friends told me there would be world champion races in Bonaire next year. Where can I find information about these races. Does anybody know if that is for kids too, or just for adults? I would love to go !!!

Hi,

This year at the Starboard Pro-kids-event here on Bonaire, the
representative of IFCA was here also and annouced that in 2009
from 12 - 19 july the IFCA Slalom Worlds will be raced here on
Sorobon Bonaire. In the same week as the 5th annual Starboard Pro-kids Freestyle Wolrds. The slalom event is great and the freestyle event wow!!. I competed in this event already twice. (Turkey 2007 and this year in Italy) It is also for kids. (I'm now 12 years) I checked the internet but could not find anything official
yet. As soon as we hear or find official info i will post it.

The windsurfing events in Bonaire are sure to be exciting, especially for kids since it is open to them too. Since it is the unofficial national sport of the Dutch Caribbean Island there are a lot of expectations. Competitors are expected from all over the world and riders are all geared up and ready to go!
