Nasty chop, no rolling swells and a gusty 12+ knot wind; not ideal conditions for the first outing on a new SUP board!

The thing that solidly hits me regarding hugh's SUP outing is that he appeared to have the same attitude as I had 21 years ago starting windsurfing. Despite his obvious adversities, he wasn't fearful or overly stressed in his initial efforts, and I think that he was enjoying the experience. Without question, the best attitude for something new. I have no doubt that he'll come back. I like his spirit.

I was just taking the photos, the valiant sailor was Craig from Amara Sailing Centre who was determined to give it a go in spite of the difficult conditions.

did he give a review of the board? Would be cool to read it, dispite the conditions he sailed and paddled in.
