Hi Kevin
At the end of last year I got a acid 86 on your recomendation and it does every thing you said it would. I'm well pleased, I have never had such a big board that can still handle a 4.5 I'm 95kg and I'm using the 86 mainly for 5.0 and 5.5 sails. I'm now tempted to get the 80 as well for my 4.0 and 4.5. Do you think there would be too much overlap between the boards? Does the 80 sail the same as the 86 but just smaller? I have found the acid seems to suit my style as I like to sail fast be it in large waves or chop. your view would be apreciated. Thanks John |

John,
Glad to hear you like the 86. If you like the way the 86 works and feels then the 80 would be a great next choice. I have been riding the 74 quite a lot lately and have been loving it but with your weight I think the 80 you will get a lot more use out of. Kevin

I'd just like to say thanks for the advice. In the end I got the acid 74 (no more 80's left in the UK)
I'm just back from Tiree where the acid 86 and 74 performed great both in choppy slightly cross on to smooth cross off on up to mast high waves. They are planning a PWA event on the Island this Autumn, If you get the chance you should try and make it, the Island can produce some quality conditions. cheers John |
