Albeau's Red Eye
When you bring up the home page for Star-board today, you see a photo with Albeau exhibiting red eye, the bane of portrait photography. Why did this pass by the editors?

It was quite clear from the Starboard transition to the new 2007 website, that they are really cutting back their internet support. They must not see it of much benefit to their potential customers and the sport.
So the answer to your post is that Starboard couldn't care less. Just grab a quick photo and post. Doesn't really matter if it is quality or not. Just like all other features on the dodgy SB website. WSGuy - suggest you move on to a new place. Try Gaastra, MS, Fanatic - they have reasonable forums & websites. |

Ouch WSGuy, that hurts. Condemning *board because they published a photo of AA with redeye.
Does anyone really care? Does it matter how it got past the editors? Should Starboard invest more money into website management, or should they focus on their core business - designing and building boards. IMHO I dont care if every picture has redeye, it is all dressing anyway. I care about the information, not the bells and whistles. JB |

He Boyz, after a good nights sleep he has no red eyes anymore !
Poster nr. 2 was right, AA has red eyes some days.

It takes two seconds to choose a photo. Something like that shouldn't even have left the photographer's studio. JayBee, perhaps you should realize that image is everything when selling a product.

I agree entirely. And if I am ever in the looking to buy AA I will certainly not buy him from StarBoard. I would buy the non redeye version from NP.

Image and Hype are everything in our stupid world at moment.
Results and performance should determine what we buy not hype bulshit and image. Posters above (some of them) should stick to reading teen mags full of cosmetic adverts for GIRLS. Get a life ! Moaning at red eye is ludicrous !
